Flo & Eddie (Mark Volman and Howard Kaylan) were founding members of the pop band The Turtles.  They later joined Frank Zappa's Mothers of Invention.  The Turtles had several Top 40 hits in the latter half of the 1960's including It Ain't Me Babe, Happy Together, You Baby, She'd Rather Be With Me, Eleanore, and You Showed Me.  Happy Together made it to #1 on the Billboard charts.
