Little Richard was a pop singer and piano player and one of the early innovators of rock & roll.  He is best known for his hit songs Tutti Frutti and Long Tall Sally (which hit #1 on the  charts) and Good Golly Miss Molly.  In 1986, Little Richard plays a neighbor in "Down and Out In Beverly Hills" with Bette Midler and Richard Dreyfuss.
