John Gielgud was a British actor whose career spanned eight decades. He is an EGAT winner. Early in his career he was a star of the London stage.  He later acted in many movies, including Becket, Charge of the Light Brigade, and Murder on the Orient Express.  He may be best known in the U.S. for his role as Dudley Moore's butler in the movie Arthur.
