Jerry Bailey is widely regarded as one of the greatest jockeys of all time. His mounts won 5,894 races and more than $296 million during his 31-year career, second only to Pat Day at the time of his retirement.  He won each Triple Crown race twice and scored a record five wins in the Breeders Cup Classic. He may be best remembered as the regular jockey of Cigar who tied the North American record for sixteen consecutive wins. He was inducted into the Racing Hall of Fame in 1995.  Baily is currently a racing analyst and commentator for NBC Sports.
