The Supremes were a girl group from Detroit and a premier act of Motown Records in the 1960's  They had 12 number singles on the Billboard Hot 100 including "Baby Love", "You Can't Hurry Love", "Stop in the Name of Love", "The Happening", "Love Child" and more.  Diana Ross (pictured with an audience member) was the lead, and other  members in 1969 were Cindy Birdsong and Mary Wilson.
