Armando Anthony "Chick" Corea was a jazz pianist, composer, bandleader and occasional percussionist.  His compositions "Spain", "500 Miles High", "La Fiesta", "Armando's Rumble" and "Windows" are considered jazz standards. In the late 1960's he was a member of Miles Davis' band.  He won 28 Grammy Awards and was nominated for the award 72 times.
