Canned Heat is a blues rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1965.  It was launched by Al Wilson and Bob Hite.  After appearances at the Monterey and Woodstock festivals at the end of the 1960's, the band acquired worldwide fame with a lineup that added Hanry Vestine, Larry Taylor, and Adolfo de la Parra.
