Steve Katz started his professional career in the late 50's on a local Schenectady NY TV program called "Teenage Barn".  He was an original member of Blues Project with Al Kooper.  He was a founding member of Blood Sweat and Tears, a jazz-rock group, in 1967 on guitar.  BS&Ts hits included "And When I Die, "You Made Me So Very Happy" and "Spinning Wheel".
